Overview
The journal is focused on contributing to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The journal welcomes contributions like scientific research papers, review papers, case studies, and discussion papers. Topics covered include circular business models, waste management, digital technologies in sustainability, and climate change. The journal is designed for an audience that includes academics, industry professionals, policymakers, and NGOs, spanning disciplines such as economics, environmental sciences, information technology, and public policy.
Aims:
- Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this journal seeks to address and suggest valuable inputs for policymakers and business models for businesses considering Environmental issues. Contributions received through this journal will help to achieve Sustainable development worldwide and will also help policymakers and businesses.
- Contribute to theoretical development and knowledge advancement while highlighting actual applications and solutions supporting sustainability goals.
- Scientific research papers, review papers, case studies, and discussion papers that provide constructive ideas and analysis are welcome. It will also emphasize the lessons learned from the experiences of various nations, societies, and economies. We hope to create a forum for development researchers, practitioners, and administrators from all domains, disciplines, and regions worldwide.
Scope:
- The journal encourages theoretical and practical developments that investigate, revise, revisit, and improve traditional, strategic, and operational decision problems to generate new and extended literature capable of addressing long-term organizational needs for expansion and diversification as well as reducing the implications of climate change and other environmental issues. The SDGs represent a once-in-a-generation opportunity to close development gaps and provide a life of dignity and long-term prosperity for all.
- In addition to the economic goal of maximizing profit, organizations today have begun to recognize the importance of ensuring the social welfare of all stakeholders for long-term and sustainable business operations through innovative goods and services, operational efficiency, and resource and capacity utilization. Business leaders view sustainability as a source of new growth, innovation, and business opportunity.
The Journal of Circular Economy, Digitalization, and Sustainability is envisioned as an interdisciplinary platform, thus encompassing a wide range of disciplines and subdisciplines. The Journal of Circular Economy, Digitalization, and Sustainability is intended for:
- Academics and Researchers: This includes faculty members, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students in the fields of economics, business, environmental sciences, information technology, engineering, and public policy, among others.
- Industry Professionals: Those working within businesses and industries that are transitioning towards a circular economy model, implementing sustainability measures, or leveraging digital technologies for environmental benefits.
- Policymakers: Individuals in governmental or intergovernmental roles focusing on regulations and laws related to sustainability, the circular economy, and digital technologies.
- Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs): Those involved in advocacy, education, and policymaking regarding sustainability, the circular economy, and digitalization.

Author Guidelines:
- Articles should be between 6000 and 8000 words in length. This includes all text, for example, abstract with keywords, references, all text in tables, and figures and appendices.
- All author-identifying information should be removed from the manuscript for a double-blind review.
- The user should submit a title that is concisely worded.
- The Title Page should be sent as a separate file named ‘Title Page’ and include the following information-
- Title of the Article
- Name of the Author(s)
- Corresponding Author
- Affiliation & Contact Information (Author email address-institutional preferred).
- The Manuscript should be sent as a separate file. The title should be mentioned at the top, followed by an abstract of around 250 words. Your submission should include up to 6-10 appropriate and short keywords that capture the principal topics of the paper.

For Reviews and Perspective Papers:
Authors may adapt the structure as per content requirements but must include an abstract, keywords, a data availability statement, and references.
- All figures (charts, diagrams, line drawings, webpages/screenshots, and photographic images) should be submitted electronically. Both color and black and white files are accepted. Third-party permission should be taken in case it’s applicable.
- The position of each table should be clearly labeled in the main body of the article with corresponding labels clearly shown in the table file. Tables should be numbered consecutively. Give each table a brief title.
- APA style of referencing should be used.
- All sources of external research support must be acknowledged in the acknowledgments section of your manuscript. Please provide an explanation of the funder or financial sponsor’s involvement throughout the whole research process, from study design to submission.
- A brief professional biography of not more than 150 words should be attached separately for each named author.
- Contributions of each author (Use short form like AS for Anurag Singh) and Conflict of Interest statement should be included in the manuscript.
